Come and See

Come and See is the religious education programme recommended by Liverpool Archdiocese.  It is the scheme that we follow here at Saint Williams Catholic Primary School.  In this section you will find the termly RE newsletters which contains more detail about the topics your child is studying.  You will also find photos and information about recent events.  Remember to check your class blogs for up to date information abbout what is happening in each class.

Y4 Assembly

Thank you to year 4 for sharing their end of topic assembly with our school community.

Mrs Ellis was really impressed with year 6 for collective worship.  The children created a river of mirrors, where they could reflect on their own lives.  They listened to Matthew 7:1-5

Here are some photographs of our stations of the cross reflection.

During the summer term we will be raising money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.  Madison in reception had suggested this charity as it is close to her heart.  There will be a wear your pyjamas day on Friday 23rd May 2014.

Last term year 4 chose to raise money for Meningitis Trust suggested by Amy in y4.  Their cake raised a massive £320.

We are very proud of the generosity of the children in school.
